  1. I can relate. I battled acne as a teen and through my 20s and 30s. Today I don’t struggle with it nearly as much, but I still have an occasional breakout. I know firsthand that acne can affect you in many ways. It can definitely cause you to be self-conscious and affect self-confidence. The product that many talk about today is Proactive. How does your product(s) compare?

Hi, thanks for your comment. I completely agree with you about how acne affects your self-esteem. It can be so debilitating and I’ve created this website so I can help people who are suffering as you used to. If you suffer from only occasional breakouts then this product alone would actually be great for you as the ingredient Triclosan may be all you need. For more severe acne this alone will not be sufficient, but will certainly help. Proactiv is indeed a very well-known brand, mainly because of the big names like Justin Bieber and Katy Perry attached to it, therefore it sells very well. The problem with it however is that many users find this product too irritating, and that is due to the use of high quantities of actives throughout the range and the addition of substandard ingredients, irritants and fragrance. Not to mention that the company itself is also very untrustworthy. There are no end of people complaining that upon ordering the Proactiv products they are unknowingly signed up to a monthly subscription of these products, and are billed a large deal of money every 30 days. When they try to cancel it, the company makes it very difficult, so this is not the kind of company or product I would recommend.

    • Hi, you’re very welcome, this is the very best cleanser for troublesome skin and I want to share my discovery with others. Thank you for your question, I have updated my post accordingly and put the websites at the bottom of the page.

Whenever I try acne products, they either seem like they work at first or just make things worse. For so many years I’ve been looking for one product that I can buy over and over again that will work ALWAYS.
I love your confidence in this product so I need to try this. It just might end up being that one I buy over and over! I’m excited to try.

Hi, thank you for your reply. These problems you have are very common, and it’s usually down to the products you have chosen. So many acne products contain an array of pointless and irritating ingredients which, over time, can make things a lot worse than they were to begin with. My website is pretty new but keep and eye on it because I will be writing about the very best products that will help people like yourself. This cleanser is definitely one of those products, but bear in mind that it takes more than a single product to clear acne. It would be great if it weren’t so, but unfortunately that’s the way of it. You need a combination of proven acne fighting ingredients to guarantee clear skin. Here’s a link to my post on ‘how to clear acne.’ This explains more about the products you will need to clear acne and keep it away. Hope this helps!
